Top Ravens News

  • Ravens' Odell Beckham: Listed as limited Thursday

Beckham (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in practice Thursday.

Beckham didn't practice Wednesday, but his listed return to practice a day later -- albeit in a limited fashion -- bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday night against the Chargers. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the veteran wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation, with his Week 12 availability potentially gaining added import if Zay Flowers (hip/DNP on Thursday) is limited or out this weekend.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Logs full practice Thursday

Bateman (foot) was listed as a full participant in practice Thursday.

Bateman downplayed the foot issue that limited him in practice Wednesday and his return to a full session a day later sets the stage for him to be available Sunday night against the Chargers. Bateman's production thus far has been modest, but there could be some extra targets up for grabs this weekend, with star tight end Mark Andrews out with an ankle injury and top wide receiver Zay Flowers having missed practice Thursday with a hip issue.

  • Ravens' Ronnie Stanley: On track to play

Stanley (knee) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's injury report.

Stanley was limited Wednesday, but his upgrade to full activity Thursday should put him on track to play Sunday against the Chargers after a one-game absence.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Listed as non-participant Thursday

Flowers (hip) was listed as a non-participant in practice Thursday.

Flowers was limited Wednesday, so his downgrade to 'DNP' a day later is notable. Meanwhile, fellow WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) was limited Thursday, while Rashod Bateman (foot) worked fully. Friday's injury report will add valuable context regarding the chances of the trio all playing Sunday night against the Chargers, but unless Flowers practices fully to close the week, he figures to head into the weekend with an injury designation.

  • Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Logs full practice

Duvernay (knee) was a full participant at Thursday's practice.

Duvernay landed on the Ravens' injury report due to a knee issue after a limited workload at Wednesday's practice. It now looks like he has moved past the issue and should be set for his usual role as a depth receiving option and special teams contributor in Week 12. That is, assuming he avoids any setbacks.

  • Ravens' Marlon Humphrey: Limited participant in practice

Humphrey (calf) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Humphrey missed last week's win over the Bengals due to a calf injury but is now closer to making his return. The 2017 first-round pick has already missed five games this season, and if he can't play Sunday versus the Chargers, Ronald Darby will start in his place.

  • Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Limited in practice Wednesday

Duvernay (knee) was a limited participant in Baltimore's practice Wednesday.

Duvernay is now dealing with a knee injury, putting his status for Sunday's game versus the Chargers into doubt. Keaton Mitchell should handle return duties in Duvernay's place if he ends up being unable to play.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Limited with hip injury

Flowers was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hip injury.

The Ravens haven't indicated that Flowers' injury is serious, but Wednesday marked the first time this season he practiced as anything but a full participant. Flowers played 98 percent of Baltimore's snaps on offense in a 34-20 win over the Bengals last Thursday, finishing with four touches for 50 yards after a dubious holding call cost him a 69-yard touchdown on a screen pass. The rookie already leads Baltimore in targets (72) and looks like a clear No. 1 option in the passing game after tight end Mark Andrews suffered a significant leg injury last week. Flowers should be busy Sunday against the Chargers if he's able to move past the hip injury.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Not worried about injury

Bateman downplayed his foot injury Wednesday, after he exited early from the Ravens' practice and was listed as a limited participant on the team's first Week 12 injury report, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Bateman sounds like he still expects to play Sunday against the Chargers, and the Ravens might need him more than usual with Odell Beckham (shoulder), Zay Flowers (hip) and Devin Duvernay (knee) all on the injury report after tight end Mark Andrews suffered a leg injury Week 11 that will likely result in his placement on injured reserve. It's unclear if Bateman and/or Beckham will practice Thursday and/or Friday, with both currently looking uncertain for Sunday even if their injuries aren't considered long-term. Bateman suggested that his current foot issue is related to the Lisfranc surgery that ended his 2022 campaign early, noting that what happened at Wednesday's practice was "something guys coming off of injuries deal with from time to time."

  • Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Dismisses concerns about ankle

Jackson said Tuesday that he doesn't anticipate his left ankle causing any complications for him during Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Jackson took every snap on offense in the Ravens' 34-20 win over the Bengals this past Thursday, despite going down in apparent pain and grabbing his left ankle late in the first quarter when he was tackled by linebacker Logan Wilson along the sideline. The signal-caller appeared to be limping at multiple points throughout the rest of the contest, but he ended up finishing with one of his better fantasy lines of the season (16 completions for 264 yards and two touchdowns, nine carries for 54 yards). Though Jackson may not have been 100 percent against the Bengals, the longer turnaround for the Ravens' Week 12 game looks as though it has provided sufficient time for him to shake off the ankle issue.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Injures foot but should be fine

Bateman left Wednesday's practice early due to a foot injury, but head coach John Harbaugh said the wide receiver "should be fine" for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Bateman went down running a route early in practice with an injury to the same foot he had surgically repaired prior to the season. While the Ravens were initially concerned over the injury, they seem to believe the wide receiver should be available moving forward. Even so, Bateman's involvement in practices Thursday and Friday will warrant monitoring.

  • Ravens' Odell Beckham: Not practicing

Beckham (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Beckham's absence comes as no surprise after he was injured at the end of a 51-yard reception in the fourth quarter of last Thursday's 34-20 win over Cincinnati. The Ravens have managed Beckham's practice workloads even when he's been in no danger of missing a game, and head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that the wideout's shoulder issue is "not going to be a long-term thing," per Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site. Even so, Beckham's fantasy managers will want to keep close tabs on his status leading up to Sunday's game against the Chargers. If cleared to play, Beckham could be relied up to absorb some of the target volume vacated by tight end Mark Andrews (ankle/fibula), who is expected to be placed on injured reserve later this week.
