Heinicke (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Scott Blair of the Falcons' official site reports.
Heinicke was also limited Wednesday, so his status for Sunday's contest versus New Orleans remains in question. The veteran quarterback was injured in the fourth quarter against Arizona in Week 10, though the issue was subsequently described as minor. Even if Heinicke is able to suit up Sunday, he's expected to return to a backup role behind Desmond Ridder.

Hollins operated with a cap on his reps Wednesday, so his downgrade in activity one day later is a worrisome sign for his potential to play Week 12. Friday's injury report could be telling for Hollins in that regard.

Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Limited Thursday
Koo (back) was limited at practice Thursday, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.
One day removed from sitting out due to a back injury, Koo was back on the field with a cap on his reps, giving him just one more chance to get back to full before the Falcons potentially give him a designation for Sunday's game against the Saints. Atlanta signed kicker Matthew Wright to its practice squad Thursday as insurance in the even Koo is unable to go this weekend.

Koo was held out of Wednesday's practice due to a back injury, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.
Koo has been mostly spot on with his opportunities this season, netting 21 of 22 field-goal attempts and 14 of 15 point-after tries in 10 games. With Koo now nursing an injury, his status bears watching as the week continues to get a sense of his potential to play Sunday against the Saints.

Falcons' Taylor Heinicke: Set for limited practice
Heinicke (hamstring) will be a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Heinicke practicing in any capacity can be viewed as positive news after Joe Patrick of 92-9 The Game Atlanta reported Monday that the quarterback was unlikely to take part in practice leading up to Sunday's game against the Saints. Before the team's Week 11 bye, Heinicke drew starts Week 9 against Minnesota and Week 10 against Arizona, but he left the latter game due to a hamstring injury. Desmond Ridder has been named the starting quarterback for Week 12, so even if Heinicke is ultimately healthy enough to suit up Sunday, he would be available strictly in a backup capacity.

Falcons' Mack Hollins: On track for limited practice
Hollins (ankle) will be a limited participant at practice Wednesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Hollins didn't practice at all ahead of the Falcons' Week 10 loss to the Cardinals, but after Atlanta's Week 11 bye, the wideout is trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints. If Hollins is able to return to action this weekend, he'll only be an option in deeper fantasy formats. Through nine games this season, Hollins has generated a 17-247-0 receiving line on 29 targets.
