  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Out again Friday

Harris (shoulder) will not play in Friday's game against the Pacers. This will be the ninth straight game on the shelf for Harris, and it's unclear if he'll be ready in time for Monday's game against the Wizards.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Still out

Harris (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Nuggets. Harris will miss an eighth straight game due to a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder. He is due to another evaluation soon but can be considered doubtful, at best, for Friday's matchup in Indiana.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Remains out Sunday

Harris (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raptors. The veteran forward was expected to be in the mix to return around late November, but he's not yet cleared to suit up. Harris' next chance to play will come against Denver on Monday.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Out at least 10 days

Harris was diagnosed with a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder Tuesday and will be re-evaluated in 10-to-14 days, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports. Harris has already been ruled out Wednesday but will be headed toward a more lengthy absence due to his shoulder injury. The veteran forward could be in the mix to return around late November.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Out again Wednesday

Harris (shoulder) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Bucks. Harris will miss his second straight game Wednesday due to a right shoulder sprain. Marcus Sasser and Stanley Umude are candidates to receive extended minutes in his absence. Harris' next chance to suit up will be Friday's matchup with Philadelphia.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Ruled out Monday

Harris will not play in Monday's game against the Warriors due to a right shoulder sprain. Monday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, but there's no indication if that factored into the decision. Harris hasn't found his rhythm this season, as he's averaging 3.4 points per game on 36.0 percent shooting from the field.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Goes for 11 points in loss

Harris totaled 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 17 minutes during Wednesday's 110-101 loss to the Trail Blazers. Few Detroit players stood out in this loss against the Blazers, but Harris took advantage of the team's struggles to deliver his best scoring mark of the campaign. He posted season-high marks in both points and minutes played in this one, but at the same time, these numbers suggest he's going to continue holding a minimal role off the bench, a situation that won't improve his fantasy prospects going forward.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Minimal role in team debut

Harris had zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) in 12 minutes during Wednesday's 103-102 loss to the Heat. Harris was traded from the Nets to the Pistons at the end of June and didn't have much of a role during his first regular-season appearance with his new club. He averaged just 7.6 points and 2.2 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game with the Nets last year, and it appears as though he could see an even smaller role early in the 2023-24 campaign.

  • Pistons' Joe Harris: Traded to Detroit

Harris was traded from the Nets to the Pistons on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Harris spent the past seven seasons in Brooklyn but saw his role decrease during the 2022-23 campaign, averaging 7.6 points and 2.2 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game despite making 74 appearances. The 31-year-old will attempt to bounce back with the Pistons, but he'll have to compete for playing time with several young players on the wing, including Jaden Ivey, Ausar Thompson and Marcus Sasser.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Rough season comes to end

Harris ended with four points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 13 minutes during Saturday's 96-88 loss to the 76ers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. After dealing with a couple of long-term injuries during the regular season, Harris was simply not the player he once was, as he barely held down a rotation spot at various points of the campaign. His ability to stretch the floor is now something that is done across the league, meaning his impact has been diluted significantly. Outside of being an occasional streamer for three-pointers when he has a path to major minutes, Harris otherwise offers little in the way of fantasy value.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Won't play Sunday

Harris (rest) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the 76ers, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. With Brooklyn locked into the No. 6 seed, Harris and the majority of the Nets' regulars will take a seat for the regular-season finale. In their absences, Cam Thomas should see a sizable role against Philadelphia.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Listed questionable for Sunday

Harris is considered questionable for Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Sixers for rest purposes, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports. Harris joins Nic Claxton and Spencer Dinwiddie on rest watch for Sunday for what is a meaningless game for Brooklyn. Even if he draws into the lineup, it wouldn't be surprising to see that be on a limited basis to avoid any potential injuries with the playoffs around the corner.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Dazzles in first quarter

Harris logged 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and two rebounds in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 123-108 win over Detroit. Harris was at the epicenter of Brooklyn's massive 47-point first quarter, pouring in 18 of those points while hitting six triples. Unfortunately for Harris, he couldn't build on the strong start over the final three quarters, but he certainly paid dividends for anyone who streamed him for three-pointers.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Sinks five triples in loss

Harris closed with 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-8 3Pt) and three rebounds across 23 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 loss to the Cavaliers. Harris got hot during Thursday's narrow loss and scored his most points since mid-February, when he posted back-to-back 18-point games while Brooklyn's roster was still in flux following the trades of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. The veteran sharpshooter out of Virginia is capable of scoring outbursts, but his lack of contributions in other categories makes him a risky fantasy play.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Starting Thursday

Harris is starting Thursday against the Bucks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Harris came off the bench in his last 11 appearances but will rejoin the starting lineup Thursday since Cameron Johnson (knee) and Royce O'Neale (knee) are unavailable. Over 32 starts this year, Harris has averaged 9.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 26.7 minutes per game.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Drills six treys again

Harris finished with 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-9 3Pt) and one assist in 16 minutes in Saturday's 101-98 loss to the 76ers. For the second game in a row, Harris shot exactly 6-for-9 from three-point land to provide the Nets with an excellent scoring spark off the bench. Even though the Nets are overflowing with options at the wing after acquiring Mikal Bridges, Dorian Finney-Smith and Cameron Johnson at the trade deadline, Harris should have a regular spot in the rotation so long as Seth Curry (adductor) is out and he continues to light it up from distance.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Lights out from distance

Harris closed with 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-9 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes during Thursday's 116-105 victory over the Bulls. Harris had made 14 straight starts, but he shifted to a bench role Thursday with Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith making their Nets debuts. Harris missed his first shot of the game but connected on six consecutive three-pointers during the second quarter to give Brooklyn the lead heading into halftime. The veteran sharpshooter is certainly capable of solid scoring nights, but he offers minimal production in peripheral categories and may see his role decreased even more when Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson are added to the mix.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Will come off bench Thursday

Harris will come off the bench Thursday against the Bulls, Alec Sturm of NetsDaily.com reports. Due to the Nets' recent acquisition of Dorian Finney-Smith, Harris will see minutes off the bench as Royce O'Neale and Finney-Smith will slot into Brooklyn's starting forward roles. Expect Harris to continue to see roughly 24 minutes per game.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Lands 16 points in win

Harris registered 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 31 minutes during Saturday's 122-115 victory over New York. Harris had one of his more productive outings in recent memory, popping for 16 points including four triples. Despite being inserted into the starting lineup almost a month ago, Harris has struggled to find any rhythm on the offensive end. He has scored double digits only four times during that time, keeping him well off the radar when it comes to 12-team leagues.

  • Nets' Joe Harris: Perfect from floor Thursday

Harris registered 16 points (6-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt), three rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes during Thursday's 117-112 loss to the Suns. Harris started a fourth consecutive game Thursday and bounced back after being held scoreless in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs. The 31-year-old was perfect from the floor and matched his second-highest total of the season with four made three-pointers against Phoenix. He's been inconsistent over his last four starts, averaging 10.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per game.
