George closed Tuesday's 131-99 loss to the Lakers with nine points (3-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes. George has averaged 10.0 points, 7.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 28.5 minutes across his last six appearances since being inserted into the starting lineup. While the rookie guard is shooting just 30.2 percent from the field over that span, he has tallied at least one steal in each of his last four outings.... See More ... See Less

Jazz's Keyonte George: Posts career-high 15 points
George finished with 15 points (4-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven assists, four rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 115-99 victory over the Trail Blazers. George started a third consecutive game Tuesday and posted a double-digit scoring total for the second time this season. The 20-year-old has shined as a distributor since replacing Talen Horton-Tucker in the starting lineup, averaging 9.7 points, 9.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 29.0 minutes per game through his first three turns on the top unit.... Jazz's Keyonte George: Nine dimes in first NBA start
George logged seven points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and nine assists over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 134-118 loss to the Pacers. Moved into the starting lineup for the first time Wednesday, George set a new personal best in assists and extended his career-opening streak of games with at least one three-pointer to nine. The 20-year-old rookie is still getting his feet wet as a pro, but the 16th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft is already flashing an intriguing skill set from a fantasy perspective.... See More ... Jazz's Keyonte George: Starting against Indiana
George is starting Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. George has been cleared to suit up despite a foot issue Wednesday, and he'll make his first career start while Talen Horton-Tucker retreats to the bench. George has played at least 20 minutes in five of his last six appearances, averaging 7.2 points, 3.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Keyonte George: Available Wednesday
George (foot) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. George was probable for Wednesday's matchup due to a sore left foot, but he'll be able to suit up against Indiana. He's averaging 7.4 points, 3.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per game this year.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Keyonte George: Probable for Wednesday

Jazz's Keyonte George: Scores five points
George amassed five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and four assists across 21 minutes during Monday's 130-113 loss to the Bulls. George's role isn't what fantasy managers would like it to be, but with the Jazz sitting near the bottom of the Western Conference with a 2-6 record, it's possible that more minutes are on the horizon for the rookie. Through eight games, George is averaging 7.4 points, 3.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 three-pointers.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Keyonte George: Drops five dimes off bench
George tallied 10 points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five assists, two steals and one rebound in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 103-98 preseason loss to the Clippers. George was one of Utah's three first-round picks in the 2023 NBA Draft. In Tuesday's preseason outing, the rookie guard showed his ability to be a primary ball-handler off the bench. However, George isn't expected to receive extended playing time to start the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Keyonte George: Goes nuclear Saturday
George registered 33 points (12-24 points, 6-15 3PT, 3-3 FT), 10 assists, two rebounds, a steal and a block in 34 minutes of Saturday's 105-99 win over the Clippers during Summer League. George turned in a fantastic performance, pacing the Jazz in points and assists on his way to a 30-point double-double. The outing was a strong bounce-back outing after an ice-cold shooting day during Utah's first game in Las Vegas. The No. 16 overall pick has shown well so far in Summer League and could play himself into a key rotational role for the Jazz this season.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Keyonte George: Puts up 15 points
George contributed 15 points (2-11 FG, 1-8 3PT, 10-10 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one turnover across 28 minutes of Thursday's 98-83 Summer League win over the Grizzlies. George played through a foot issue that he picked up Wednesday, so that could explain the poor shooting from the field. Regardless, George showed plenty of promise during the Salt Lake City Summer League, averaging 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in three appearances.... Jazz's Keyonte George: Exits early with foot injury
George left Wednesday's 104-94 Summer League loss to the 76ers with a left foot injury, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. He finished with 14 points (5-10 FG, 3-5 3PT, 1-1 FT), four assists and three rebounds over 25 minutes. George appeared to tweak his ankle late in Wednesday's game and briefly went to the locker room before returning to the bench and being ruled out with a foot injury. Prior to exiting, George racked up 14 points, all of which came in the first half. With Utah playing again Thursday, they could opt to play it safe with their first-round draft pick and give George the night off.... See More ... See Less

Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoThe Jazz fall to Portland 121-105 and fall to 4-11 on the season. Utah has dropped four straight. The Jazz are soundly outplayed on both ends of the ball. This is Portland’s second home win of the season. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!! Eat a ton tomorrow

Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoThe Utah Jazz are currently down 32 in Portland
-
Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoThe Jazz head into the fourth quarter trailing 89-73…..if they have a run in them to make at this game, it should come in the first five minutes of the quarter
-
Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoThe Blazers go on a 9-2 run and now lead the Jazz 77-55….its tough to stress how bad a game the Jazz are playing now. The context is that Portland has lost eight straight. The blazers also played last night, they also traveled for this game.

Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoAs I’m watching this Jazz team I can’t help but think of how little appreciation the Jazz teams from 2016-2021 got from its own fan base. Well….THIS is what it looks like when it goes off the rails. I hope the next Jazz team that gets to a 50 win level is more accepted

Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoSo the Jazz trail Portland 65-46 at halftime. Simply put the Jazz are in a very very bad place at the moment. Not playing well offensively. Not playing well defensively. They are in one of these spots as an nba team where they have to dig deep and figure some things out
-
Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoThe Jazz are up to 13 first half turnovers. We are past this being an issue and approaching this being an epidemic….jazz are down 12
-
Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoThis is why closing quarters are important. It can take an awful 12 minutes and make it into a bad 12 minutes. The Jazz trail 32-21 after one. But if Portland had closed the quarter with a 5-0 run instead of the Jazz doing so, this would be a 20 point game.
-
Tony Jones@Tjonesonthenba1D agoWell it looked like the Jazz were finding a footing but the last few minutes have been ugly. Scoot Henderson checks in, but the Jazz are turning the ball over on one end and not getting stops on the other. Will Hardy calls time. Utah down 25-12
