  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Questionable with thumb sprain

Robinson is questionable for Friday's game at the Knicks due to a sprained right thumb. Robinson had his six-game streak of double-digit scoring snapped during Wednesday's 129-86 win over the Cavaliers. Unfortunately, he also sprained his thumb. Bam Adebayo (hip) is questionable for Friday as well, so the Heat could be quite shorthanded. An absence to Robinson could lead to more minutes for Josh Richardson and Caleb Martin

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Hot shooting continues

Robinson posted 22 points (7-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Monday's 118-100 win over Chicago. Robinson connected on at least four three-pointers for the fifth straight game, continuing his return to form. After basically falling out of the rotation last season, Robinson has been able to revitalize his career, playing a pivotal role for the Heat once again. Until Tyler Herro returns from his ankle injury, Robinson is a must-roster player, even in standard nine-category leagues.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Drains six threes against Brooklyn

Robinson totaled 26 points (8-14 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and two assists in 38 minutes during Thursday's 122-115 victory over the Nets. Robinson has been outstanding since moving to the starting lineup, and he's now scored 15-plus points in three consecutive games, including two 26-point performances in that span. He's also shot 40.5 percent from deep in that four-game stretch and seems to be trending in the right direction. His fantasy upside will remain high as long as he stays in a starting role.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Stays hot Tuesday

Robinson closed with 18 points (6-13 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 111-105 win over the Hornets. Making his third consecutive start, Robinson came through for those who streamed him for three-pointers and offered atypical production in other categories. The rebounding and defensive numbers in particular likely won't stick for Robinson, but he's finding his shooting rhythm in Miami's offense since moving into the starting five in place of Tyler Herro (ankle). Through his first three games on the top unit, Robinson is averaging 18.3 points, 5.3 boards, 3.7 assists and 3.0 triples while shooting 43.2 percent from the floor.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Drops 26 points in win

Robinson recorded 26 points (8-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block across 39 minutes during Sunday's 118-113 victory over the Spurs. Robinson was part of Miami's starting lineup for a second consecutive game Sunday, and he topped 20 points for the first time this season while also securing a season-high five rebounds. The 29-year-old went 1-for-10 from beyond the arc during Saturday's win over Atlanta, but it was encouraging to see him with better efficiency in the second half of the back-to-back set. With Tyler Herro (ankle) set to miss multiple weeks, it wouldn't be surprising to see Robinson's role continue.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Starting on Saturday

Robinson is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta. Robinson joins the starters on the first night of Tyler Herro's multi-week absence due to an ankle injury. Saturday marks Robinson's first start of the season.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Available Monday

Robinson (wrist) is available for Monday's game against the Lakers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson was considered probable for Monday's matchup due to a sprained right wrist, so his status isn't particularly surprising. He's scored in double figures in three of six appearances this season and is averaging 11.7 points in 24.7 minutes per game.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Tallies season-best stat line

Robinson contributed 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt), one rebound, six assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 121-114 win over the Wizards. Robinson struggled over Miami's first five games of the campaign, averaging 10.4 points on 42.6 percent shooting with minimal complementary stats. However, the sixth-year shooting guard was a big contributor in Friday's victory, leading the Heat's reserves in scoring on the strength of a 4-for-8 performance from beyond the arc. Robinson also finished with a season-high six dimes after he had totaled just five assists over his first five contests. The Michigan product hasn't lacked for opportunity this season -- he's played at least 21 minutes in each game thus far -- but he'll need to have more performances like Friday's to emerge as a reliable fantasy asset.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Available Friday

Robinson (foot) is available Friday against the Celtics. Robinson was carrying a probable tag prior to this update. Friday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, but Miami has not reported any minute restrictions for Robinson.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Probable Friday

Robinson is probable for Friday's game against Boston due to a foot injury, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The exact nature of Robinson's foot injury isn't yet clear, but it doesn't appear as though it'll force him to miss Friday's matchup. Assuming he's cleared to play, he could see increased playing time again since Josh Richardson (foot) remains out.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Leads bench in Wednesday's win

Robinson logged 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 103-102 win over the Pistons. The 29-year-old wing led the Miami second unit in scoring and made a key contribution in the narrow win. Robinson is looking to bounce back from a tough 2022-23 campaign that saw him squeezed out of the rotation at times as he tried to adjust to a bench role, but the Heat lost some key depth pieces in the offseason, and he'll be given every opportunity to re-establish himself as a regular part of coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Returns to second unit

Robinson moved back to the bench for Friday's preseason game against Houston. Caleb Martin returned to the starting lineup after recovering from a knee issue. With Jaime Jaquez battling a groin issue, Robinson may be in the rotation for Opening Night.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Struggles from deep Wednesday

Robinson recorded 12 points (4-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 23 minutes in Wednesday's 107-104 preseason loss to the Nets. Robinson delivered a decent stat line considering he played 23 minutes, and while the shooting woes in the preseason aren't something that should be taken seriously, it's worth noting that Robinson's value lives and dies in what he can accomplish as a shooter. He knocked down just 32.8 percent of his threes during the 2022-23 regular season, and that figure has plummeted to 24 percent across four preseason contests.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Starting vs. Brooklyn

Robinson will start Wednesday's preseason matchup against the Nets, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Robinson will be joined by Josh Richardson, Jamal Cain, Haywood Highsmith and Bam Adebayo in the first unit, leaving plenty of opportunities for Robinson to get up shots. While he's struggled with his shooting stroke so far in the preseason, Robinson can get hot in a hurry and pour in points when his shot is falling.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Scores 14 points Friday

Robinson delivered 14 points (4-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-6 FT), two rebounds, five assists and a steal across 21 minutes in Friday's 120-104 preseason loss to the Spurs. Miami rested several key players in this preseason contest, and Robinson made the most of the opportunity to deliver a decent performance, although his shooting was somewhat inconsistent. Robinson figures to be a scoring weapon off the bench for the Heat once the regular season starts.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Starting Friday

Robinson will start Friday's preseason game against the Spurs, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. With Miami's regular starters unavailable, Robinson headlines a makeshift first unit for Miami. The sharpshooter has struggled in recent years, but he should get plenty of opportunities for the shorthanded Heat on Friday.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: No made field goals in win

Robinson had two points (0-7 FG, 0-6 3Pt. 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 20 minutes in Tuesday's 113-109 preseason victory over the Hornets. Robinson's three-point shooting percentage has steadily declined over the past three seasons after posting a career-best 47.0 percent shooting from beyond the arc in 2019-20. In fact, his 37.1 percent three-point shooting from last season is the lowest mark of his five-year career. Tuesday's preseason showing could just be Robinson shaking off rust, but he certainly hasn't been trending in the right direction.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Blocks two shots in Game 5 loss

Robinson recorded five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 17 minutes during Monday's 94-89 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Robinson played sparingly during the regular season, but he was a core piece of the postseason rotation, posting 9.0 points in 18.2 minutes on 47/44/87 shooting splits while appearing in all 23 contests. The undrafted product out of Michigan signed a lucrative four-year deal in August of 2021, so he's locked in with Miami for at least the next two seasons.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Stays hot despite loss

Robinson had 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), one rebound and two assists across 20 minutes during Saturday's 104-103 loss to Boston in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. After hardly playing in Game 1, Robinson has averaged 14.0 points on 50 percent shooting from deep over the past five matchups. He failed to connect on a couple of wide-open chances to give Miami the lead late in the fourth quarter, but he's still been a solid offensive weapon for the Heat this series and figures to have a sizable bench role during Game 7 on Monday.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Drills five from deep in win

Robinson closed with 22 points (7-11 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes during Sunday's 128-102 victory over the Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Robinson followed up an impressive 15-point effort in Game 2 with his highest point total of the season. The sharpshooter was in full command of his three-point stroke at the perimeter, nailing five of seven attempts beyond the arc. He finished the game as Miami's second-highest scorer behind Gabe Vincent.
