Player Outlook
Brown's move to Philadelphia in 2022 was extremely successful, and he should be considered a top-10 Fantasy receiver in all leagues this year. Brown is worth drafting as early as Round 2 in all formats. Last year, Brown teamed with Jalen Hurts and set career highs in targets (145), catches (88) and receiving yards (1,496), and he matched his career high in touchdowns (11). His 17.6 PPR points per game was also a career high. Brown has plenty of competition for targets with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, but Brown is still the alpha of this receiving corps. He should have another dominant campaign if healthy, and Brown should come off the board in all leagues as early as No. 15 overall.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Another limited listing

Brown (thigh) was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report. The Eagles are placing listed restrictions on Brown's activity level this week due to a thigh injury, and now Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he heads into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game versus the Bills. As one of four players in the NFL with at least 1,000 receiving yards this season, his status of course is of interest in the fantasy realm.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Tending to thigh issue

Brown was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough by a thigh injury. Through 11 weeks of the current campaign, Brown has avoided showing up on Eagles injury reports, but he now is dealing with a health concern as the team prepares for Sunday's showdown with the Bills. He may need to be listed as a full participant Thursday and/or Friday in order to avoid a designation for that contest.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Just one catch in Week 11 win

Brown caught one of four targets for eight yards in Monday's 21-17 win over Kansas City. Despite Brown's quiet night and the absence of starting tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm), Philadelphia improved to 9-1 thanks to three rushing touchdowns, as well as 99 receiving yards from DeVonta Smith, which tied Smith's second-highest total of the season. While Smith has exceeded 100 yards only once this season, Brown has done so six times, so the star wide receiver is likely to bounce back from this season-worst performance Week 12 against the Bills.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Sees record yardage streak end

Brown caught seven of nine targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Cowboys. While Brown scored his fourth TD in the last three games on a four-yard toss from Jalen Hurts late in the third quarter, the wideout's production still felt a little disappointing after he'd set an NFL record by topping 125 receiving yards in six straight contests. Brown heads into the Eagles' bye on pace for nearly 1,900 yards on the season, keeping him within striking distance of Calvin Johnson's all-time record of 1,964, but he'll face a tough matchup on the other side of the break in a Week 11 Super Bowl rematch with Kansas City.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Top DFS Play (WR Preview)

No one is playing better football than Brown right now and the receivers who are close aren't on the main slate. I have Brown projected to score three more points on FanDuel than any other receiver on the slate. Don't get cute fading him.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Extends record streak Sunday

Brown brought in all eight targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 38-31 win over the Commanders on Sunday. Brown put together another signature performance that included just enough yardage to surpass Lions great Calvin Johnson for most consecutive games with 125-plus receiving yards (six). The big-bodied wideout recorded an acrobatic one-handed grab for his first touchdown from 16 yards out and later added a 25-yard grab for his second multi-score tally of the campaign. With a seemingly never-ending parade of prolific performances, Brown appears to be matchup-proof heading into a Week 9 showdown at home against the Cowboys.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Top DFS Play

Brown will try to set an NFL record by going six consecutive games with at least 125 yards receiving, and I expect him to hit the mark. Considering Tyreek Hill has to face New England and Ja'Marr Chase is in San Francisco, Brown may be the WR1 overall this week.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Standout performance on SNF

Brown hauled in 10 receptions on 15 targets for 137 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Dolphins. Brown and the Eagles came out victorious in a primetime battle between conference contenders that featured two of the league's top wideouts Sunday. The 26-year-old bested Tyreek Hill's 11-88-1 receiving line for the Dolphins as both superstars led their respective teams with 15 targets apiece. Brown has now recorded at least 125 receiving yards in five consecutive games, tying an unofficial league record shared by Calvin Johnson (2012) and Pat Studstill (1966). Brown will look to become the sole holder of that honor if he can produce another monster receiving line against the Commanders next Sunday.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Racks up 131 yards in loss

Brown had seven receptions on nine targets for 131 yards in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the Jets. Brown produced his fourth consecutive game with 125 or more receiving yards despite Philadelphia taking its first loss Sunday. The 26-year-old also finished as the Eagles' leading receiver despite his nine targets finishing third behind teammates DeVonta Smith (11) and D'Andre Swift (10). Brown's big receiving day brought his season line up to 42/672/2, with the lack of touchdowns being the only possible criticism through six strong weeks. Look for Philly's top receiver to be featured against the Dolphins next week when the two star-studded teams face off on Sunday Night Football in Week 7

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Leads team with 127 yards

Brown finished with six receptions and 127 yards off of eight targets in Sunday's 23-14 win over the Rams. Brown was unable to find the end zone Sunday after his two-score effort against the Commanders in Week 4. However, the star wideout produced his third consecutive triple-digit receiving yardage day for fantasy managers following a mild start to the campaign. The red-hot Brown will now enter a Week 6 matchup against a tough Jets defense, but he remains a must-start asset in fantasy.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Hauls in two long scores in OT win

Brown caught nine of 13 targets for 175 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-31 overtime win over the Commanders. The former Titan topped 130 receiving yards for the second straight game and got into the end zone for the first time in 2023, hauling in a 59-yard bomb from Jalen Hurts in the third quarter before giving the Eagles a 31-24 lead with less than two minutes left in the fourth on a 28-yard TD. Brown has a 29-414-2 line on 43 targets through four games, and he could keep rolling in Week 5 against the Rams.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Racks up 131 yards in Week 3

Brown caught nine of 14 targets for 131 yards in Monday's 25-11 win over Tampa Bay. After being limited to 29 receiving yards in Week 2 against the Vikings, Brown gained 28 on Philadelphia's first pass of the game. That play set the tone for Brown's fourth game over 130 receiving yards since the start of last season. He easily led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards while setting season highs in all three categories. Brown scored 11 touchdowns in 2022, but he's still looking for his first score of 2023 heading into a Week 4 home game against the Commanders.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Kept in check during Week 2 win

Brown secured four of six targets for 29 yards in the Eagles' 34-28 win over the Vikings on Thursday night. Brown tied DeVonta Smith for second in receptions but was a distant runner-up to his fellow star wideout in receiving yardage. The big-bodied wideout's uninspiring line was partly the result of Jalen Hurts' modest 23 pass attempts and D'Andre Swift's standout 175-yard tally, however, and he'll remain a candidate for his first breakout of the season in a Week 3 road contest against the Buccaneers on Monday night, Sept. 25.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Leads way in rainy conditions

Brown recorded seven receptions on 10 targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 25-20 win over the Patriots. Brown and DeVonta Smith each had exactly 10 targets and seven receptions, though Brown worked more as the big-play threat. Despite rainy conditions, he had long receptions of 23 and 15 yards, each of which was based primarily on run after the catch. Given the context and typically tough matchup, it was a solid start to the new campaign for Brown.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not playing Saturday

Brown isn't expected to play in Saturday's preseason game in Baltimore, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The Eagles starters aren't available for the team's exhibition opener, meaning Brown and DeVonta Smith will yield wide receiver reps to the likes of Quez Watkins, Olamide Zaccheaus and Devon Allen. Brown's next opportunity for game action is this coming Thursday versus the Browns.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Strong start to training camp

Brown has made numerous impressive plays in the Eagles' first few training camp practices, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Brown and Jalen Hurts are picking up where they left off after the star receiver produced 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first season with the Eagles. The quarterback-receiver duo worked together in the offseason to further improve their chemistry, and that work seems to have paid off.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Catches long touchdown

Brown recorded six catches on eight targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-35 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs. Brown made his presence known early in the game when he made an impressive 45-yard grab for a touchdown to kick off the second quarter. He also chipped in some additional production, highlighted by a 22-yard reception just before halftime to set up a field goal. The effort capped Brown's first season in Philadelphia, during which he posted a career-best 88 receptions and 1,496 yards across 17 regular-season games.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Manages four catches in rout

Brown caught four of eight targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 31-7 win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. The Eagles' passing game never had to ramp it up, as Brock Purdy (elbow) got hurt early for the Niners, and their offense struggled with journeyman Josh Johnson (concussion) under center. As a result, Brown had a second straight quiet playoff performance after reaching at least 70 yards in six straight games to close out the regular season. The hip issue that's slowed the fourth-year wideout in practice lately may have also been a factor, but Brown will have two weeks to heal up before the Super Bowl.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Clear of injury report

Brown (hip) isn't listed Wednesday on the Eagles' first injury report ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the 49ers. Brown was slow to get to his feet a few times during the later stages of this past Saturday's divisional-round win against the Giants. He touched on the subject Sunday, telling Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer that his left hip got banged up during the contest. According to McLane, Brown also said that he's "good to go" prior to Wednesday's walk-through, which was confirmed now that his name wasn't included among Philadelphia's injured players on the active roster. Brown thus is set to face a San Francisco defense that was vulnerable against wide receivers during the regular season, ranking 26th in yards per target (8.5) and tied for 26th in total touchdowns (18) allowed.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Downplays hip issue

Brown tweaked his left hip in Saturday's 38-7 win over the Giants in the divisional round, but he told the Eagles training and coaching staffs that he'll be fine moving forward, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Because the Eagles raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead, Brown was afforded some rest late in the contest and finished the victory with three catches for 22 yards on six targets while playing 51 of 69 snaps on offense (73.9 percent). The hip issue doesn't look to be anything that will affect Brown's availability for the NFC Championship Game matchup with the 49ers this coming Sunday, but Brown could have his reps managed early on during the practice week as a precaution. By the time Sunday arrives, however, Brown should be ready to handle a full workload as the Eagles aim to return to the Super Bowl for the second time in six seasons.
